Apartments Hersonissos Villa Sonia - Directions

From Heraklion Port to Villa Sonia by bus

There is a bus station about 10 minutes on foot from the port. From June to September the buses leave every 30 minutes. If you are arriving in our apartments in April, May and October please contact us so we can inform you about the bus schedule.

It is a 45 minute drive and the ticket costs about 3,00 euro per person. From the bus stop it is about a 10 minute walk to the apartments.

If you decide to take the bus, tell the bus driver that you would like to get off at Creta Maris stop.

When you get off the bus, you will see opposite the Medical Center and a big black shop that sells furs.

Take this road heading straight until the end and then you will turn left. Having the sea on your right hand just follow the road.

At about 100 meters after passing the marina of Hersonissos you will see a blue white jewelry shop called LENA. The apartments are just above.

From Heraklion Airport to Villa Sonia by car

The Google map is showing the area of Heraklion (A) and the position of Villa Sonia (B). So you start your trip from the airport, you follow the National Road E75 to AGIOS NIKOLAOS. After about 12 km, you turn right where the sign board writes "KATO GOYVES/OLD NATIONAL ROAD". You follow the road for about 9,3 km and then you see on your left hand THE MEDICAL CENTER, there you turn left into Sanoudaki road. After 220m, on the crossroad you turn left to Dimokratias street and then on the 3rd road that you see on your right, you turn right (on the corner there is a car rental shop). Follow the road having the sea on your left hand and after about 240m you will see a blue white jewelry shop called LENA on your right hand and just above are the apartments. You can park your car in the small street just next to LENA shop. You can ask for me there and I will come to welcome you.

From Chania to Villa Sonia by bus

You can take the bus from Chania airport to the Chania bus stop. It is about a 20 minute trip. From there you take the bus to Heraklion. The ticket is about 15,00 euro per person and it is a 2,5 hours trip. Or if you prefer you can take a Taxi

At the bus terminal in Heraklion you will have to take another bus to Hersonissos which costs 3,00 euro per person and it is a 45 minute trip and from the bus stop in Hersonissos it is a 10 minute walk to the apartments.
